Kampar Day Market Breakfast
Had breakfast at the Kampar Day Market today. Tried the roti bakar—it was just average, nothing too special. The barley drink and tea, on the other hand, were surprisingly good and refreshing.
The standout dish was definitely the fried kuetiau—incredibly fragrant and delicious. I also tried the roasted duck noodles. The duck was beautifully marinated, full of flavor, and clearly popular, judging by the long queue of people waiting to get some.
However, the overall environment was a bit off-putting. The area was quite messy and dirty, and the presence of beggars persistently asking for money made the experience less enjoyable. I think next time, I’ll opt to takeaway the food instead of eating there.
