The sun is high, the sky is blue,
The air warm the whole day.
The sun beats down from skies,
The air is thick, the sun’s a beat.
We sip on tea and find some shade,
Or swim in pools where waves are made.
The ground is hot, the breeze is slow,
Hot weather’s here, so let's stay cool.
Hot summer days are here,
We wear our hats and sunscreen too.
The weather is strong, the river is dry,
Even the cool air still cannot save us.
The clouds are gone from the blue sky,
We sit and sip some lemonade.
A sunny day, the sun will not quit,
We find cool places where we can stay.
